Anahita™ Connect

The Anahita™ Connect social app makes the integration of an Anahita powered social network with other services such as facebook or twitter possible. This integration is done using the OAuth technology.

Imagine visiting an Anahita powered social network and instead of remembering and entering your username and password to login, you simply click on a facebook or twitter icon and you are immediately signed in. In this method your existing facebook or twitter account is conveniently used to authenticate you.

Now imagine when you post a story update on your profile, it also immediately gets posted on your twitter and facebook news feeds. To take this further, let’s say you have created a group for a project, brand, or support group. The group profile can be paired with a twitter account so anytime that a new story update is posted on the group’s feed, it also gets posted to the twitter account paired with the group’s profile.

Users are required to have an existing facebook or twitter account to be able to use this social app.

Features

One Click Sign-in - by clicking on a facebook or twitter icon, your user is authenticated and signed into your Anahita powered social network in one step.

Pairs the Anahita Profiles with other social networking profiles - in the current implementation a person’s profile can be paired with twitter and facebook profiles so when the person posts a story update on her profile, it also gets posted on her facebook and twitter feeds.

A group’s profile can also be paired with a twitter account so whenever a story is posted on the group’s profile it is also posted on the related twitter feed.

Tech Specs

Anahita™ Connect is using the OAuth technology to make the integration of Anahita with other social networking services possible. The current implementation supports Facebook and Twitter services where every Anahita actor (person or group) profile can be one-to-one paired with a twitter profile. In the same fashion, an Anahita person profile can be paired with a facebook person profile only. Facebook pages, groups, or events cannot be paired with any of the Anahita actor profiles.
