Hi, I\'m interested in having an age verification as apart of the sign up/registration process is this something that could be implemented as apart of Anahita\'s sign up flow?
We have all kinds of registration workflow requests and suggestions coming in. They are all valid and also quite diverse too. Our take is that custom registration workflows are better added as Anahita extensions rather than becoming part of the Social Engine itself since every business have a slightly different work flow model and we cannot possibly implement all of them.
So once 0.9.4 release is ready we will look into developing good registration workflow APIs so people could implement their own custom registration extensions.
@Dale - I'm a bit late to the party here, but were you able to successfully implement some form of age restriction at registration?
Once I brush up on (or rather obtain) some coding skills I was going to give this a try. Curious whether you found it best to do within Anahita framework and whether you'd consider it a "beginning" or "intermediate" level of skill required.
No, I have not implemented an age verification plugin for Anahita. This is on my low priority list at the moment. However I am open to bumping it up with some help.
I'm still considering whether low priority or not myself... industry regulations appear to require minimum age where certain "advertisements" are displayed, however others in this space seem to get by with re-labeling them "sponsorships" without imposing age restrictions to view their sites. At this point though I'm inclined to want to go ahead and implement it so was starting to invest some time to get underway.
Have you started looking into different implementation approaches?
Guinness (http://www.guinness.com/) seems to have a nice approach of tying age restrictions to geographic location that gives good flexibility for accommodating different requirements across jurisdictions. However for my purpose I was looking to incorporate into the sign-up page rather than block all content as Guinness does, which would be compatible with regulatory concerns that I've read which suggest advertising is ok so long as age restrictions are maintained for registered users.

Agree. Thanks Rastin... :)
