I am interested to see how this plays out, like how the menu manager is handled and how the normal article pages are handled for things like copyright, community guidelines. It will be big when its dropped for those little things so looking forward to it too ;)
Having thought about this a little more - the only actual elements I have gone to use is the simple article manager, module manager for my homepage and menu manager for things like footer menu and main nav - thats actually it in total.
A nice evolution would be an "edit-in-place" tool with semantic features (RDFa) like this: http://createjs.org/demo/hallo/ (click on "edit" in the upper right)
I personally hate JCE - an editor with 4 or 5 options tops is all that should be needed. JCE last time I checked had an option on it for me to eat my dinner too ;)
What I like bout JCE - is that it enable me to easely upload diffferent kind of media files like pdf etc. - and the general editor functions seems to be far more advanced than the usual "native" editors - and it works well with a nice workflow.

We can build a light and simple article manager using the Anahita medium nodes.

Me too @James
I suppose the JCE editor most likely will not work then ?
JCE editor is a must....or at least a better editor than Joomla offers....
At all I think apps like pages, blogs etc should use an extended editor like jce. The current editor is only good for the discussion app.
What do you like about JCE?
