Use this for informal requests and build a seperate app using nooku server / joomla + nooku
Well now, lets re-think that - it does fit the paradigm so we could build it as a Anahita App - presumably we can build in workflows into it if we are programming it

Much of the functionality I need for Ablazepartners can be done in Joomla extensions - so I can I plug in the extensions or do I have to re-write them?
Yes mostly, but not a great idea. Better to be pure of Anahita

Umm - we can have nice conversations about it - and yes we shall be able to - don't know about time scales though.

Yes, but it does seem to be a hassle - I suspect that the javascripting stuff is to do with jquery or some missing library rather than resource urls - there is no such problem in Joomla.
Also should allow for divergeance
And follow my instinct re different sites for different functions
The next strategy is to bridge - sync users between 'Joomla' sites since civicrm will sync with the joomla users.
JFusion seems to do this
